    Berlioz: Te Deum Op.22
Grande salle Pierre Boulez-Philharmonie

Kazuki Yamada conducts the "Te Deum" by berlioz and the piano concerto "Reflections", by Michael Jarrell, performed by Bertrand chamayou and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Concert recorded live on 25 May 2019 at the Philharmonie de Paris.

The Te Deum is perhaps one of the most suitable works by Berlioz for commemorations. Premiered during the Exposition Universelle of 1855, it brings together the orchestra and the organ, along with a children's choir, an influence following an extraordinary moment witnessed by Berlioz during a concert in London's St. Paul's Cathedral. A work of great fervour that is preceded by another stroke of audacity: a new piano concerto by Michael Jarrell, here performed for its world premiere.
